Youth invited to participate in a Rock Climbing festival in Ukraine (16-26 september 2010)
Participants between 16 and 30 years old are invited to a week of rock climbing in Sudak, Crimea in Ukraine. They must be able to tie into the rope safely, belay safely and abseil. They should be able to lead climb at Fr 5c standard or above.
Young members from all UIAA associations are welcome to join this Festival. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a leader from their own federation.
You will find more information and contact details in the invitation. If you would like to take part, you must send in the registration form before June 25th 2010.
This event is part of the Global Youth Summit, a series of international summer climbing camps and other mountaineering events for young people.
Please not that the GYS starts from the age of 12 years for some events. It is therefore recommended to check the specific age group for the event in which you or your participants would like to take part.

Note about the GYS Elbrus Expedition
The GYS Elbrus Expedition was cancelled. Other events in Crimea and on Mt Kazbek in Georgia shall be organized this year.
